B1A4 (비원에이포)

B1A4 (Korean: 비원에이포) s a South Korean idol group. They are founded by WM Entertainment in 2011. B1A4 s a male quintet consisting of their leader Jinyoung (진영), rapper Baro(바로), main vocal Sandeul(산들), vocal and sub-rapper CNU(신우), and vocalist Gongchan(공찬).

Why they are called B1A4???? Because they have a connection with the members' blood types. Only one of their member, Baro has blood type B. At the rest, Jinyoung, CNU, Sandeul and Gongchan are blood type A, hence the numbers 4 and 1 to make the group name "B1A4". Onf of the B1A4 meaning is "Be the one All for one".

B1A4 fans are called BANA. To celebrate their 100th day on July 31, B1A4's leader Jinyoung reveals that the boys had come up with a name for their fans. His explanation went as follows: "BANA (바나)" refers to "BA (Us, B1A4) NA (Our fans!)", and put together it means "we have fallen for each other (BANA)!"。 Last June 27, WM Entertainment officially unveiled on B1A4's official site "PPyoungE" which is featured on the official fanclub logo. The logo is a skull with two eyes (one eye with a heart as its pupil and a heart that replaces the right eye) with the words "B1A4 and BANA" situated below the logo.
